SMS Terms & Consent
Last updated: August 13, 2026
This page describes the Ascent Construction Group SMS programs for subcontractor foremen and for property site staff. It supplements our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1. Program identification
Program sponsor: Ascent Construction Group, 8925 E Pima Center Pkwy, Ste 115, Scottsdale, AZ 85258.
Ascent Construction Group operates two SMS programs. Both are transactional project notifications. Neither contains marketing, promotional, or advertising content, and neither shares recipient numbers with third parties.
Program A — Ascent Construction: Daily Punch List Reminders. One text message per active project per business day to subcontractor foremen with a link to their company’s open punch list items on Ascent Construction projects they are assigned to. The link opens a read-only web page; no Ascent account or login is required to view it.
Program B — Ascent Construction: Resident Service Request Alerts. One text message to designated property site staff (leasing managers, maintenance supervisors, and Ascent warranty staff) each time a resident at a property they work on submits a service request. The message identifies the building and unit and includes a link to a web page where the recipient records whether the request is routine maintenance or a warranty item and leaves a note for the rest of the site team. No Ascent account or login is required to use it.
2. How recipients consent
Both programs use verbal, in-person opt-in. There is no web form opt-in, no keyword opt-in, and no purchased or third-party-sourced numbers. In both cases an Ascent employee reads a disclosure aloud, the recipient agrees, and the Ascent employee records that agreement in the Ascent Construction Platform on an attestation screen that repeats the disclosure word for word. The Platform stores the attesting employee’s user identifier and a timestamp against the recipient’s contact record, and refuses to send SMS to any contact with no such record on file. Records are available on request.
Program A — Daily Punch List Reminders (subcontractor foremen)
Consent is collected in person on the jobsite by the Ascent project manager when the foreman’s mobile number is first gathered for the project. The project manager reads the following SMS disclosure to the foreman and confirms the foreman has agreed before any text is sent:
“By providing my mobile number, I agree to receive recurring text messages from Ascent Construction Group with punch list reminders and project communications related to projects I am assigned to. Approximately 1 message per project per business day. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
Before the Ascent Construction Platform will send any SMS to a foreman, the Ascent project manager must complete an in-platform attestation that reads: “I confirm I have presented the SMS disclosure above to this person and they have agreed to receive recurring SMS messages on the number on file.”The platform records the project manager’s user identifier and the timestamp of the attestation against that contact record. SMS sending for any contact cannot be enabled without this attestation on file, and a project manager can disable SMS sending at any time from the Punch List Distribution screen.
Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of subcontracting with Ascent Construction Group; a subcontractor may decline the SMS program and continue to receive the same information by email.
Neither the foreman’s employer nor Ascent can consent on the foreman’s behalf. Providing a mobile number to Ascent for any other purpose — on a subcontract, an insurance certificate, or a project directory — does not enroll anyone in the SMS program.
Below is the exact attestation screen the Ascent project manager must complete in the Platform before the system will send a single message to a new recipient. It is reproduced here so that the consent step can be reviewed without a Platform login.
SMS consent attestation
Before enabling SMS for [foreman name] ([mobile number]), confirm you have read the following disclosure to them and they have agreed to receive recurring text messages on the number above.
“By providing my mobile number, I agree to receive recurring text messages from Ascent Construction Group with punch list reminders and project communications related to projects I am assigned to. Approximately 1 message per project per business day. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
Full SMS program terms: /sms-terms. Your attestation will be recorded with your user id and a timestamp against this contact.
Program B — Resident Service Request Alerts (property site staff)
Consent is collected in person at the property, at the meeting where Ascent and the property management team agree who will be on the warranty response list. The Ascent staff member reads the following SMS disclosure to each person and confirms they have agreed before any text is sent:
“By providing my mobile number, I agree to receive text messages from Ascent Construction Group notifying me when a resident service request is submitted at a property I work on. Approximately 1 message per request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
As with Program A, the Platform will not send any text to a site staff contact until an Ascent user completes the in-platform attestation reproduced below, and the attesting user’s identifier and timestamp are stored against that contact record. Text alerts for any contact can be switched off at any time from the Service Requests screen.
Consent to receive SMS is not a conditionof employment with, or of any contract or property management agreement with, Ascent Construction Group. Anyone who declines continues to receive the identical notification by email. An employer, property manager, or ownership group cannot consent on an individual’s behalf, and providing a mobile number to Ascent for any other purpose — on a property directory, a vendor form, or an email signature — does not enroll anyone in the SMS program.

Before enabling text alerts for [contact name] ([mobile number]), confirm you have read the following disclosure to them and they have agreed to receive text messages on the number above.

3. Message frequency
Program A (Daily Punch List Reminders):approximately one message per project per business day, sent on weekday mornings (typically 6:00 a.m. local project time), only on days when the recipient’s company has at least one open punch list item. Recipients assigned to multiple Ascent projects may receive one message per project per day. Recipients with no open items receive no message that day.
Program B (Resident Service Request Alerts): approximately one message per resident service request submitted at the recipient’s property, typically a few messages per week. Volume is driven by resident submissions, so there is no fixed schedule; a week with no submissions produces no messages.
4. Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Ascent Construction Group does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may bill you per message under your plan. Check with your carrier for details.
5. Opt-out (STOP)
You can opt out of the SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any Ascent Construction message. You may also reply CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPTOUT, REVOKE, or STOPALL. After opting out, you will receive one confirmation message and then no further SMS messages from this program. You may continue to receive project-related email from Ascent Construction unless you also opt out of email at our email preferences page.
To re-subscribe after opting out, contact your Ascent project manager or reply START to any prior Ascent message.
